HAM AND CHEESE TOASTIES
Serves: 2 · Prep time: 15 min
What you need: 

• 4 Slices Mello Low GI Brown bread
• 50 g Butter, softened
• 2 Tea spoons dijon mustard
• 100 g Thinly sliced ham
• 80 g Gruyere cheese, thinly sliced
• Salad, to serve

How you do it: 

Set 30 g butter aside. Place 2 slices Mello bread on a board. Combine mustard and remaining 20 g butter in a small bowl. Mix well. Spread over bread. Top with ham and cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Spread remaining bread with mustard butter and sandwich together. Press down firmly.
Heat half the reserved butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Place 1 sandwich in pan. Cook for 2 minutes each side or until golden.
Repeat with remaining butter and sandwich. Serve with salad.
